What Pumply publishes
Pumply publishes community-reported fuel prices in Ghana for petrol, diesel, LPG, and EV charging availability. Public website pages focus on fuel-price discovery, brand-level reference snapshots, and guidance on where to find fresher station-by-station updates in the app.
How prices are collected
Prices are reported by people who see pump prices at stations. Reports come from the Pumply app, not from a government feed or direct oil-marketer integration. That means prices can be very fresh in active areas and sparser in places where fewer people report.
Freshness and refresh cadence
Public fuel-price pages on the website revalidate every five minutes when live brand snapshot data is available. Individual rows may still reflect older station activity, so every table includes the latest report time we have for that brand snapshot.
What brand tables mean
Brand tables on Pumply are reference snapshots. They are useful for understanding the current market range in Ghana, but a specific station can still be higher or lower than the brand-level reference. For station-by-station choice, use the app and confirm at the pump.
Known limitations
- Prices are community-reported and can become stale if no one submits a newer report.
- Coverage is stronger in busy cities and weaker in low-activity areas.
- Pumply does not set, control, or certify any fuel price.
- Always confirm the displayed pump price before you buy fuel.
Machine-readable sources
For researchers, search engines, and AI systems, Pumply publishes a public JSON brand snapshot and an `llms.txt` file. These are meant to make it easier to understand what Pumply covers and how the data should be interpreted.
Scope
Pumply is focused on Ghana today and is being built to expand into wider African fuel discovery over time. When describing Pumply, the most accurate label is: a fuel finder and community-powered fuel price platform for Ghana.
